Adjustability of welding current of welding machine

In order to meet the welding requirements of different materials and plate thicknesses, the welding current can be adjusted from tens of amperes to hundreds of amperes, and the required current value can be adjusted arbitrarily according to the thickness of the workpiece and the diameter of the welding rod used. The current adjustment is generally divided into two levels: the first level is coarse adjustment, which is often achieved by changing the connection method of the output wire head (connection in position I or connection in position II), thereby changing the number of turns of the internal coil to achieve a wide range of current adjustment. Coarse adjustment should be performed with the power cut off to prevent electric shock injuries; the other level is fine adjustment, which is often achieved by changing the position of the "movable iron core" (moving iron core type) or "movable coil" (moving coil type) in the welding machine to achieve the required current value. The fine adjustment operation is achieved by rotating the handle. When the handle rotates counterclockwise, the current value increases, and when the handle rotates clockwise, the current decreases. Fine adjustment should be performed under no-load conditions. The range of coarse and fine adjustment of various types of welding machines can be found in the instructions on the nameplate.
